WSJournal rates Steamboat a “Tempting Location for Vacation Home Buys”
In November, 2006, the Wall St. Journal’s online RealEstateJournal rated Steamboat Springs as one of the top 12 places to buy a vacation home. While other resorts have seen prices skyrocket, Steamboat is still considered a “deal”. Of course, this was written a month before Intrawest decided to buy our ski mountain. Activity has definitely increased, but Steamboat is still an incredible value compared to other resorts. Combine our real estate prices with our friendly “real” town, our Champagne powder snow, and our perfect summers, and you can see why more people are choosing Steamboat for vacation home purchases.
