Steamboat Springs Flight Schedule-Winter 2008/2009
One of the best parts of skiing at Steamboat is the easy access in and out of the Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The new terminal is small enough so that you park your car, walk across the street and check in, but large enough that you’ll fly in and out on a jet.
Capacity is down almost 8%, but with the base area renovations-Thunderhead Lodge is gone with its 126 guest rooms and condos, as is Ski Time Square-our “bed count” is down, too. Once new developments like One Steamboat Place, Trailhead Lodge, and Edgemont are open, the flight capacity will most likely increase.
You can fly direct into Hayden, CO (HDN) from 9 airports this winter: Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Newark, NY/LaGuardia, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/ St. Paul, and Denver.
