Steamboat Real Estate Week in Review: Oct. 20-26, 2008
Yesterday, the Steamboat Pilot reported there were 64 closed real estate transactions in September. That number might look surprisingly good as October comes to a close and Bruce Carta at Land Title starts counting up the closed transactions for this month.
As you can see from this Steamboat Real Estate Week in Review, only two real estate transactions closed this week for a total of 29 closed transactions through October 27th. (That number does not include Steamboat FSBO’s (for sale by owners), private transactions, timeshare sales, the four days left in the month, etc.)
Six properties went under contract this week, proving not all buyers are sitting on the sidelines waiting for the election to be over/ the market to settle down/ the credit crisis to resolve/ housing prices to stabilize.
The Steamboat real estate market will return. It’s been down before and it has always bounced back.
