Steamboat Real Estate Week in Review January 12-18, 2009
Steamboat real estate activity has increased since the holidays with the number of showings up and aggressively priced properties receiving (in a few cases) multiple offers.
Last week 9 properties went under contract and 4 properties sold for an average price of $900,000, or 92% of list price.
Putting it in perspective: in December 2007, the average list-to-sold ratio was 96%. In December 2008, the average list-to-sold ratio was…………..96%. The same. Less real estate was sold last month than December of 2007, but there was still almost $20,000,000 in the Steamboat Springs MLS alone that changed hands.
