Steamboat Real Estate Two Week Review: Dec 1-14, 2008
Since December 1, 10 properties have sold and 9 went under contract. Interest has been in lower priced properties in Steamboat and Craig. It’s been a long time since the average sold price for Steamboat Springs residential real estate is $389,000, which it was this month.
Even with pending sales, 9 out of 10 were priced under $400,000.
For first time homebuyers, the USDA is offering a rural mortgage product (Routt County qualifies) with very little money down. Other FHA products allow buyers to get into a house with a minimal down payment of 5% or less. Call me at (970) 819-6372 or email to find out the details.
