Why are prices so high?

Several reasons account for the dramatic increase:

• Intrawest announced they were buying the ski mountain late December, 2006
• The Base Area Development plan announced a new base village and new mountain improvements
• Our listing inventory is at an all-time low
• New development projects won’t be finished for two years

• Steamboat is still the most affordable ski resort to buy real estate–even since the increase!
