Boundaries: Silver Spur is located about three miles west of Steamboat and borders Steamboat II and County Road 42. It is located to the west of the new Steamboat 700 planned development. Streets include Winchester Drive, Silver Spur Street and Purple Sage Trail.
The Neighborhood: Silver Spur is a planned development with 129 homesites. The neighborhood has a trail system for biking, walking, or cross country skiing that goes through the community and a playground accessible from the trail so kids don’t have to bike on the streets to get there. Silver Spur has great ski mountain views.
Lot sizes range from .3-.5 acres and homes tend to be larger than many neighborhoods in Steamboat with square footage in the 3000-4000 range. All homes were built after 2000 and many are professionally landscaped with patios, water features, and xeriscaping.
Elementary school children in public school go to Strawberry Park Elementary.
