FSBOs Around Steamboat
I talk to many Steamboat Springs For Sale By Owners. I like to know what is available for buyer clients.
Most FSBO’s will work with Realtors representing buyers. It’s worth the commission to have a Realtor bring a Buyer, especially if they are tired of all the open houses, showings, cleaning up for no-shows, and other thankless jobs. Occasionally I’ll talk to someone who refuses to pay a Realtor commission if they bring a buyer, and more often than not, that property doesn’t sell or eventually winds up on the MLS.
Selling real estate can get complicated. Each transaction is different, and having a neutral third party to tame emotions, keep financing, title work, inspections, and all the details on track is invaluable–especially for those crazy transactions where everyone lets out a huge sigh when everything comes together at the closing table.
