The Old Town Hot Springs closed today for a face-lift. It should be no surprise, as it seems as if the whole town is getting a make-over. Buildings are being being torn down and construction trailers are settling in for the busy summer construction season. Old Town Hot Springs, located across from the Rabbit Ears Motel, will also look different next winter. It will be closed until November while the Heart Pool and Spa Pool are enlarged and a new water slide is built. Word is the entrance to the slide will be through the building so users won’t freeze walking up the steps in the winter. Won’t that be an improvement!
