Newer 2 bedroom Steamboat condos available right now at great prices
The only newer condos currently available in the Steamboat mountain area are at Aspen Lodge in Trappeurs Crossing. Aspen Lodge was built in 2006 as part of the larger Trappeurs Crossing development.
Trappeurs Crossing is about a block away from the ski area and has underground parking, several pools and hot tubs, tennis courts and a seasonal shuttle.
There are two Aspen Lodge condos available. They are side-by-side ground floor units with private patios and hot tubs. Prices are in the $600,000-$650,000 range.
New construction available in 2009
Off the mountain, there are four new developments downtown that have made the look of Steamboat Springs sparkle. Lincoln Avenue has a whole new look as new retail stores open and people move downtown.
The residential/commercial buildings include The Olympian, Howelson Place, Alpenglow, and The Victoria.
Prices for new construction in downtown Steamboat are:

- Alpenglow–$1,000,000+
- The Victoria–$1,250,000+
- Howelson Place–$1,000,000+
Closer to the mountain, Trailhead Lodge will be finished this summer. Trailhead is the first building in a series of single family homes, townhomes, hotels, and condos at Wildhorse Meadows. Trailhead Lodge will eventually have a gondola linking it to the base area. Prices start at less than $1M.
New ski-in, ski-out construction available in 2010
Edgemont is the only ski-in, ski-out development with 2 bedroom condos currently under construction. (One Steamboat Place has larger units.) If you want new construction on the slopes, Edgemont is the place to buy. In this current credit market, it could be a while before new projects break ground which should increase the demand for Edgemont.
Edgemont has several two bedroom units available for sale. Reservations are currently being accepted with 20% down and the balance due on completion. Prices start at $1,389,000.
Popular, Well-Maintained properties built in 2001
The Eagle Ridge area near the mountain has several popular, well-maintained properties that were built in 2001. There are several condos available at Eagle Ridge Lodge and Canyon Creek around $600,000.
