The Steamboat Pilot reported today that:

This spring, 44 residences, ranging from one to four bedrooms in size and from the $800,000s to more than $2.5 million in price, will be released for sale. Edgemont’s residences will be offered only through a priority reservation program.

And according to Edgemont’s website, Edgemont in Steamboat Springs is:

Notice any mention of what you are actually buying? No? The way resort properties are marketed in Steamboat Springs these days is by selling the experience and lifestyle, not the “bricks and sticks“. Steamboat is a resort that just doesn’t have a lot of ski-in, ski-out property.

Some resorts string up a new lift or gondola and open up acres of new, pricier, “ski-in, ski-out” building sites. Steamboat doesn’t have the ability to do that, so our ski-in, ski-out condos really are at a premium.

If having a ski-in, ski-out brand-new place appeals to you, Edgemont and One Steamboat Place will be first class developments. Reservations are similar to Wildhorse Meadows and Trailhead Lodge, because both developments are being marketed by S&P Destination Properties.
