Christie Peak Express in Steamboat Springs is (Almost) Ready for Riders
The Steamboat ski area’s mid-mountain terminal of the high-speed Christie Peak Express is being installed this week. It will drop beginner skiers off where the South Peak lift used to be, right by Bear Claw Condominiums. Riders can unload or continue up to the top of Christie Peak (where the Christie lifts end).
The two main beginner runs, Main Drag and Boulevard, are being merged into one big trail instead of two skinny catwalks.
