Steamboat Springs got 9″ of snow and it’s still coming down! The weather finally turned skier friendly, and things are looking great for Opening Day next week. Here’s a photo of our office in Ski Time Square with snow!

Christie Peak Express in Steamboat Springs is (Almost) Ready for Riders
The Steamboat ski area’s mid-mountain terminal of the high-speed Christie Peak Express is being installed this week. It will drop beginner skiers off where the South Peak lift used to be, right by Bear Claw Condominiums. Riders can unload or continue up to the top of Christie Peak (where the Christie lifts end).

Steamboat Base Photo
Steamboat Springs, CO is getting three new beginner slopes at the base of the mountain. This picture was taken on October 30, about three weeks before Opening Day. Construction equipment is working seven days a week to finish the re-grading before the snow making machines start to cover the ground with snow.
