Update:  The bids at auction were $3,750,000 for the Blazemark home (which ultimately increased to $4,125,000) and $2,100,000 for the Dakota Ridge home. Real estate sales may have slowed in Steamboat during 2008, but luxury real estate sales were strong until the last quarter.   Thirty one (31) Steamboat luxury homes and townhomes sold for over $2,000,000 in 2008. The average price was $3,846,303, and cash buyers had the advantage when it came time to write the check. [...]
